Guest Designer for Dilo En Espanol - Say it in English - Celebrating Life - Project 3

Hello Crafty Friends,

 

Welcome to the 3rd Tuesday in August where I will be showcasing the Say it in English - Celebrating Life stamps from Dilo En Espanol. 

Today's project I have to admit was not what I originally had planned for this post.  I thought of this project at 10:00 pm last night while lying in bed going to sleep.  I just couldn't get it out of my mind so I ran straight into my craft room and made it.

 

 I water colored the camera and popped it up on foam squares. Then I took the entire set of bubbles and banners stamps and about 5 different shades of blue and created background for this simple but cute card.

Hello Crafty Friends,

 

Welcome to the 2nd Tuesday in August where I will be showcasing the Say it in English - Celebrating Life stamps from Dilo En Espanol.  Today I share a project I made as a gift for a good friend.  I have known him since he was just a little guy.  He recently good married and I wanted him and his beautiful wife to have something special from that day.

 

I took their wedding invitation and a picture that they had attached to the centerpieces on the tables the day of the wedding and made a burlap and sunflower (their theme) picture frame.

Dilo En Espanol - Guest Design Team Introduction Blog Hop

For those of you who don't know me my name is Chaunnelle Gonzalez.

I've been married to my wonderful, supportive husband for 16 years. 

We have a beautiful little girl and she is 4 years old and my partner in paper crafting crime.

 

I have been paper crafting for approximately 21 years after taking my very first Creative Memories Scrapbook class.  I have always loved paper, stickers and such but that class took it to a whole other level for me and I have never looked  back.  I have just maybe in the last 4 or 5 years taken a liking to stamps.  Especially sentiment stamps.  I can't seem to get enough. 

 

My mother in law speaks mainly Spanish and I made her a set of cards as a Christmas gift a few years ago but they were all in English.  She of course loved them and used them proudly.  Then I came across Dilo En Espanol and fell in love with these stamps.  I am so excited cause now I can make my mother in law tons of cards and she is going to be so happy.  I will one day have them all and I can make any card my mother in law needs or anything else she may request.
