Saturday Sketch Challenge # 2

Hello Crafty Friends,

Here we are on Week 2 of our Saturday Sketch Challenge with my friend Kristine.
I got to pick the sketch this week and this is the one I chose:

I am having so much fun getting back in my craft room and posting.  Doing these weekly challenges is helping get my mojo back.

Now onto my version of the sketch.  It took me a little out of my comfort zone as I used multiple pattern papers.  I have a ton of it so I figured I better start using it instead of staring at it's loveliness.

Here is my card and below it will be the supplies I used:

Cardstock - Georgia Pacific and Recollections (Michaels)
Pattern Paper - Daphne's Closet (Lawn Fawn)
Enamel Dots - Recollections (Michaels)
Smoothies Ink Color - Close to my Heart
Sentiment - Supersized Birthday Greetings (Jaded Blossom)
Stitched Panel - Panel Dies (Jaded Blossom)
Birthday Hat - Party Hat Dies (My Creative Time)
Sea Glass Stickles

Hope you enjoyed my card for today and I hope you will go and visit my friend

See you next week :)

I'm back

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am super excited to be posting again.  I will be posting, for now, every Saturday.  I have made a new friend and she is super awesome.  Little did I know I had a fellow stamper/card maker/paper crafter right at my own workplace.  We will be posting our own challenge every Saturday on our blogs.  Please check her out at
Her name is Kristine and she is on a few design teams, one of them being one of my favorite stamp/die companies - The Stamps of Life.  And yes I have quite a few favorites.

Today's card is made with the following sketch in mind.  Kristine picked our first sketch and it is one of October Afternoon's sketches from their blog http://octoberafternoon.typepad.com/october_afternoon/2012/10/thursday-sketch-challenge-1.html

Here is the sketch:

And here is my version of it:

Here is what I used to make my card:

Ariel - Cricut Image - Print then Cut
Paper - Michaels and Joanns
Enamel Dots - Michaels Recollections Brand
Washi Tape - Unknown
Crystal Ice - Ice Stickles
Best Wishes Die Cut Sentiment - My Creative Time
Hexagon Die Cut Shapes - Spellbinders

I hope you enjoyed my crafty creation and will come back again next Saturday to see what I come up with next.
